Anti-Bullying Week 2011

Y5′s Assembly on the Victorians

Year 5′s assembly on the Victorians was a very informative overview of the inventions of that period. Everything from ice cream to the telephones and a whole lot more. Y6 – Assembly on Ancient Greece

On Wednesday 3rd November, Year 6 performed their assembly on Ancient Greece. It included the story of Theseus and the Minotaur and the legacy left behind by the ancient Greek civilisation. If you have any comments to add I’m sure Y6 will enjoy reading them.

South Africa Visit

Mr Cockcroft visited South Africa  in March 2010 to look at what we could learn from school leaders in Cape Town. His visit was  for one during which time he kept in contact with the children at Heap Bridge through this blog. This blog is a record of the questions children wanted to know answers to and the responses Mr Cockcroft managed to make from Cape Town. There are also pictures of his visit in the website’s gallery.

Visit from Caroline Hacking

Caroline Hacking works for ITV and is most commonly known for her work on Granada Reports and Key 103. Caroline is a reporter and presenter and came in to school to celebrate the excellent work that we have been doing in our Wizard Writing Project.

Year 6 Printing Experience
