This week Year 1 have been focussing on the story ‘What the Ladybird Heard.’  We have taken on the role of a Police Officer to complete a Police Report about the crime.  We wrote scripts for news reporters so that we could take on the role of a news reporter today.

Also, we designed rosettes and trophies for each animal, for examples ‘Best Wool in Town’, ‘Best Swimmer’ and ‘Tastiest Eggs’.  We then had a Pride of Britain’s Farmyard ceremony.  Tomorrow, we will be writing acceptance speeches from the point of view of the animals.

‘Today has been the best day ever!’ Lucas

We had such fun! We dressed in a blazer and had the BBC News introduction music and logo in the background. Very professional! There are videos however I need to learn how to upload them 🙂
