Year 4 children have made a good start to their history work this term. Our topic is The Anglo Saxons and Vikings. Children have been looking at the Roman withdrawal from Britain in AD 410 and the fall of the western Roman Empire.

Then we went onto study the Scots invasions from Ireland to North Britain (now Scotland.) After that, we looked at the Anglo-Saxon invasion, where they settled and their kingdoms.

I loved the fact that we could draw our own vikings. It was really good!!!
