The School Council organised a very successful end of year talent show. Children from Reception -Year 6 all had the opportunity to show off their incredible talents. They could sing a solo, sing and dance as part of a group, or tell jokes the choice was theirs.  The children had been busily practising for the auditions last week and yesterday was the Grand Final.

The show was amazing and everyone has fun.

We had our very own judges who were fabulous. Miss Porter was the head judge for the afternoon, Mrs Greenwood , Mr Stanhope and Mr Tomkins made up the rest of the judging panel.

Their task was to find a winner and runner up for Key Stage 1 and a winner and runner up for Key Stage 2.

After all the acts had performed the judges went off to make their final decisions.

And the winners were……………..

KS1 Winner – Reception – Yellow Submarine , KS 1 Runner up – Let it Go !

KS2 Winner – Year 5 – ‘Bad’ , KS2 joint runners up – Year 5 – ‘Me Too’ and Year 3 – ‘Wings’

The standard was very high and all the children who took part can be very proud of themselves.

Take a look below at all the acts as they performed their routines.

Everybody who sang, danced or told jokes were so good. Even when we did the auditions and people did not get in the semi final it does not matter because everyone has practiced. Darcie and I still practiced, just in case we had to go in and we even practiced with over people just in case people were scared and wanted us to sing with them. Thank you to school pupils who helped Mrs Scallan and to sort everything out and to make all this happen! It was awesome!
