Reception have an author visit

Reception had a wonderful time joining in with Anna and Sir Undercracker this morning. They listened carefully for the rhyming pairs, joined in with all the actions and learned lots of new vocabulary. I am sure the children will continue to enjoy exploring this book. Thank you Anna!

World Book Day in Year One

The Runaway Pancake!

Reception have been sharing the story of The Runaway Pancake. They have joined in with the story repetition and created the characters. Today they learned why we have Shrove Tuesday and talked about their favourite toppings on pancakes. We all enjoyed flipping and tasting the delicious pancakes.

Fabulous fireworks
