Making a Christmas decoration

In Year 2 we have been getting ready for Christmas, whilst developing our understanding of writing instructions. We have made Christmas decorations to make our classroom tree look beautiful, follow our instructions below if you would also like to make Christmas decorations for your tree.

Year 3 Spelling Bee

A huge well done to all of our Year 3 and Project X Spelling Bee medal winners. The Year 3 Spelling Bee was extremely close, with three children competing in the finals for the bronze medal. Year 3 Winners  Project X Winners

Bonfire Night poetry in Year 6.

Drama in Year 5

This term, in English, year 5 have been exploring the rainforest. We are currently writing a narrative that takes explorers on an adventure through the rainforest. Yesterday, we used drama to explore the actions, feelings and thoughts of our characters. Take a look at our work.  

A successful start in Year 2

Reception have an author visit

Reception had a wonderful time joining in with Anna and Sir Undercracker this morning. They listened carefully for the rhyming pairs, joined in with all the actions and learned lots of new vocabulary. I am sure the children will continue to enjoy exploring this book. Thank you Anna!
