Year 2 World Book Day

We had a wonderful day in Year 2 celebrating World Book Day! We designed book covers, wrote character descriptions and made our own bookmarks. Our theme was to dress up as a character from our selection of Bookflix books. Well done for all your super efforts!

Reception have enjoyed a wide range of stories about Superheroes including ‘Supertato’ and ‘Superkid’. They created their own ‘Supertato’ vegetables, counted out how many Evil Peas there were and wrote some wonderful sentences about how the trapped vegetables could be feeling.

Making a Christmas decoration

Year 3 Spelling Bee

A huge well done to all of our Year 3 and Project X Spelling Bee medal winners. The Year 3 Spelling Bee was extremely close, with three children competing in the finals for the bronze medal. Year 3 Winners  Project X Winners 

Bonfire Night poetry in Year 6.
