Children back at School

Welcome to

Heap Bridge Village Primary School

"Working together, learning together"

alt

Heap Bridge Village Primary School was opened in 1912 to cater for the children in the Heap Bridge village area and includes children from the Summit, Darnhill and surrounding farms. We can accommodate 175 children.

The atmosphere at Heap Bridge is that of a small village school and we are able to develop close relationships between children, teachers, parents, staff, governors and the local community. The standard number of pupils that we admit into each year group is 25 which keeps our class sizes smaller than most other primary schools.

The school is built on two levels with two classrooms, the hall, library and kitchen being on the lower floor and five classrooms, a conservatory and the offices on the upper floor. In the grounds at the rear of the school there is an environmental area with a pond and wooded area which is adjacent to the playground.

If you would like to visit our school we would be more than pleased to welcome you and show you all the exciting things that we do.

Mr Cockcroft
