Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

The school council would like to thank all the staff, parents and pupils for helping to raise over £600 this afternoon. The school hall was full of delicious cakes and treats and the support from our families was wonderful. Thank you and well done everybody!

Year 5 Camping Trip.

This weekend, Year 5 children took part in an overnight camping trip to Ashworth Valley. Children trekked from school up to the campsite, where they then set up their tents, took part in games and cooked their evening meal. Year 4 have been involved in a local initiative organised by the Heywood based social enterprise group PossAbilities, who, supported by the Big Lottery Fund, have created Monkey Town Goes Ape! Year 4 World Book Day

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed World Book Day and they all had made a huge effort with their costumes. We did a variety of activities including hot seating with different book characters and we read our Year 4 story – Tom’s Titanic Tale.

Year One World Book Day
